The Sims 4 has unveiled full details for the next game pack Realm of Magic – and it’s launching next month.
Realm of Magic finally introduces witchcraft and magic, highly common fan requests, to the game and the official trailer shows off a new world where Sims perform spells, brew potions, engage in duels, and ride on broomsticks.
The end of the trailer confirms that this pack is coming out on PC and Mac on Friday, September 10. It will launch on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on Tuesday, October 15.
The official description for Realm of Magic reveals that Sims can train to be a Spellcaster.
“Collect and cast spells to make Sims fight, conjure food, or even turn others into objects. Create drinkable potions to make Sims fall in love, remove unwanted curses, or live forever!” it reads.
In addition, Spellcasters can summon familiars, with options including a dragon, a fairy, your own pet (if you have the Cats & Dogs expansion), and more.
Plus, there will be a range of new hairstyles, clothing, and build objects, as well as a variety of wands and brooms to customise your Spellcaster.
A developer for The Sims 4 explained that there will be two new worlds introduced. The first is a neighbourhood called Glimmerbrook that your Sims can live in – likened to Forgotten Hollow in the Vampires pack. The second is the Magic Realm.
