CUPERTINO, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–
The Amazfit GTR Costs Less Than $200 and Combines Fashion, Intelligence, and Usability Into New Line of Smartwatch Meant to Diversify Consumers Palate for Wearable Tech
Huami (HMI), the world’s second-largest wearables company, announced today the launch of the Amazfit GTR smartwatch. The newest addition to their lineup of feature-packed watches, the GTR comes in two sizes – 47.2mm and 42.6mm – and features all-metal construction, with the 47.2mm available in three high-grade metals: aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium. Offering a host of features including a 27-day-battery life, 24-hour heart rate monitoring, 12 sport modes, and dual-mode GPS, the stylish new GTR combines modern convenience with classic looks in a watch that’s perfect for any occasion.
“The new Amazfit GTR smartwatch showcases how the world of fashion and technology can be merged to create a stunning class of feature-rich products that allow consumers more flexibility with their wardrobe when it comes to wearable tech,” said Elaine Huo, Head of U.S. Marketing for Huami.
With this philosophy in mind, Amazfit is partnering with leading fashion influencers to create a series of “Get Ready with Me” social media videos (GTR = “Get Ready” in Internet slang) to accompany the GTR’s launch. Shared across Instagram and other social channels, these prescriptive videos will show consumers how they can incorporate GTR’s attractive design into a winning, modern style, and get ready to take on the world.
